Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Prepare cake mix according to package directions into 2 round layers.
  2. Once cooled slice these 2 round layers into 4 thin layers.
  3. Prepare the vanilla pudding according to its package directions. Allow to chill for about 20 minutes.
  4. Whip the heavy cream and slowly add in the sugar. Once you've reached the peak stage, the cream is whipped enough.
  5. In the bottom of the trifle dish add one thin layer of cake and spread on top of it around 4 to 5 tablespoons of the vanilla pudding.
  6. Add enough strawberries to completely cover the pudding (about a cup)
  7. Add about a half of a cup of the whipped cream on top of the berries.
  8. All you need to do is continue to layer this...cake, pudding, berries, and whipped cream until you've reached the top of the trifle dish.
  9. Add the fresh berries around the edge of the trifle.
  10. Refrigerate for half an hour.
