Strawberry Orange Delight

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 3 (3 oz) packages strawberry gelatin
  • 2 3/4 cups cold water
  • 1 (4 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed,divided

Directions:

  1. Stir boiling water into gelatin in medium bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
  2. Stir in cold water.
  3. Refrigerate 1 1/4 hours or until slightly thickened (consistency of unbeaten egg whites).
  4. Reserve a few oranges for garnish.
  5. Genly stir remaining oranges into thickened gelatin.
  6. Beat cream cheese and sugar in separate medium bowl with wire whisk until well blended.
  7. Gently stir in 2 cups of whipped topping.
  8. Spoon into large serving bowl; cover with gelatin mixture.
  9. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
  10. Garnish with remaining whipped topping and reserved mandarin oranges.
