Spicy Deep Fried Gator Balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb cooked flaked alligator meat
  • 3 tbsp cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup unseasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups cornmeal
  • 3 cups peanut oil
  • 1 tbsp frank's red hot sauce

Directions:

  1. Mix everything but cornmeal and oil together.
  2. Heat oil.
  3. Shape into balls.
  4. Roll balls in cornmeal until coated.
  5. Fry in oil until golden brown.
  6. Drain on paper towels.
