  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. For Shortbread crust:.
  3. In medium bowl, stir together flour, powdered sugar and butter until dough forms a ball.
  4. Press dough into greased 9x13 inch pan.
  5. Bake 10-12 minutes.
  6. For Brownie:.
  7. In medium bowl, stir together brownie mix, egg, water, oil until moistened (about 40 strokes).
  8. Spoon brownie batter evenly over cooked shortbread crust.
  9. Place pecan half over batter.
  10. Bake 30-35 minutes.
  11. Cool thoroughly.
