Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup molasses

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar. Add flour alternately with milk. Add eggs. Stir baking soda into molasses until it foams. Add to first mixture. Fill greased mold, cover lightly and steam 1 1/2 hours.
