Plum Walnut Cheesecake

Ingredients:

  • use vanilla crust adding 1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts-crust page
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 oz plum extract (bickford flavors)
  • 1/4 cup plum brandy
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 500^.
  2. Blend cream cheese, sugar and flour until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time.
  4. Add extract, brandy, and cream, mixing thoroughly.
  5. Walnuts can be layered in bottom of pan,
  6. Or folded into plum filling - your choice.
  7. Pour filling into prepared pan.
  8. Bake at 500^ for 15 minutes.
  9. Reduce temp. to 250^ and continue baking for 1 hour.
  10. Let cool completely and refrigerate before serving.
