Peanut Butter Waffle Toast (Bisquick)

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 cup bisquick
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 6 -8 slices bread
  • 6 -8 tsp miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Heat waffle iron and grease with cooking spray.
  2. Stir milk, Bisquick,peanut butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg until blended.
  3. Dip bread into batter on both sides. (If coating is too thick add 1 teaspoon of milk at a time until desired consistency.).
  4. Place in waffle iron and close lid.
  5. Bake about 2 minutes.
  6. Carefully remove waffle toast.
  7. Sprinkle each waffle with 1 tablespoon chocolate chips.
