Peanut Butter Waffle Toast (Bisquick) |

This is bread dipped in batter and made in a waffle iron. It is a cross between French toast and a waffle. Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups milk |
1 cup bisquick |
1/2 cup peanut butter |
2 tablespoons sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 egg |
6 -8 slices bread |
6 -8 teaspoons miniature semisweet chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Heat waffle iron and grease with cooking spray. 2. Stir milk, Bisquick,peanut butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg until blended. 3. Dip bread into batter on both sides. (If coating is too thick add 1 teaspoon of milk at a time until desired consistency.). 4. Place in waffle iron and close lid. 5. Bake about 2 minutes. 6. Carefully remove waffle toast. 7. Sprinkle each waffle with 1 tablespoon chocolate chips. |
