Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
  2. Measure flour, salt and baking powder in bowl and stir to blend, set aside.
  3. Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat, remove from stove. Stir in brown sugar.
  4. Blend in egg, vanilla and orange zest.
  5. Add flour mixture to the butter mixture.
  6. Stir in coconut and dates.
  7. Spread mixture into a greased 7 x 11 pan.
  8. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and cool before cutting in small squares.
