Old Timey Tea Cakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Cream margarine and sugar together well.
  2. Add eggs; cream well.
  3. Sift all dry ingredients together.
  4. Stir in dry ingredients and vanilla extract.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Drop by teaspoons.
  7. Onto a greased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake at 375 degrees until done.
  9. Remove from cookie sheet.
  10. Cool then store in a tin or airtight container.
