Nuttin Butter Than This Snack

Ingredients:

  • 9 cups chexx cereal- any kind you like, rice and corn work well
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, measure cereal and set aside.
  2. In a microwave safe bowl, add chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter, microwave on high for 1 minute.
  3. Stir, then microwave for 30 seconds more until mixture stirs smooth.
  4. Stir in vanilla.
  5. Pour over the cereal in the bowl.
  6. Stir until cereal is covered, but be gentle as to keep the cereal whole.
  7. Pour into an air tight container or zipper loc freezer bag and add the confectioners' sugar.
  8. Shake, shake, shake until the mixture is well coated.
  9. Refrigerate 1 hour or overnight.
  10. NOTE: If you don't want to microwave, the chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter can be melted in a double boiler on the stovetop.
