Ingredients:

  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups oats

Directions:

  1. Put coconut and pecans on a jelly roll pan and toast in the oven at 350* for 5 minutes, stirring often.
  2. Set aside to cool.
  3. In lg mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars.
  4. Add eggs and beat well.
  5. Add dry ingredients and vanilla.
  6. Stir in oats, chips, coconut and pecans.
  7. Drop by rounded teaspoons on greased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake at 350* for 10-12 minutes, until just browned.
