Moms Brown Sugar Pecan Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugar
  2. Add egg and beat well
  3. Add dry ingredients and mix until incorporated
  4. Stir in pecans
  5. Roll dough into a 2 to 3 inch log depending on how large you like your cookies
  6. Wrap in plastic wrap or wax paper
  7. Refrigerate for at least one hour
  8. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  9. Slice cookies
  10. Bake for 12 minutes (don't over cook)
  11. Remove to cooling rack
  12. Store in airtight container
