Ingredients:

  • 2 x 500 g red aamli (obtainable at indian spice shops )
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 small tin golden syrup
  • salt to taste

Directions:

  1. Break the aamli into pieces
  2. Add sugar and golden syrup in a saucepan ,cook until syrupy
  3. Add chillies and salt
  4. Add pieces of aamli
  5. Cook until dry
  6. Put teaspoonful onto plastic wrappers
  7. Store in a cool dry place
