Directions:

  1. Prepare cake batter according to package directions. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups two-thirds full.
  2. Bake at 350° for 18-24 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely.
  3. Tint the frosting with food coloring if desired. Frost the cupcakes and decorate as desired. Yield: 2 dozen.
