French Toast W Substitutes

Ingredients:

  • 9 pieces of bread ( never lasts long at my house, so freshness wasn'tsp an issue)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 tsp. sugar (instead of 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract)
  • dash of cinnamon
  • butter or cooking spray (i used olive oil cooking spray this time around)
  • salt , pepper to taste (optional)
  • toppings: syrup , butter , whipped cream , fruit... anything your heart desires

Directions:

  1. Mix eggs, milk, sugar, and cinnamon in a medium to large bowl.
  2. Spray or butter Saute pan. Use Medium Heat.
  3. Dip each side of bread slices into egg mixture one at a time, then transfer to pan.
  4. Cook until golden brown.
  5. Serve immediately with toppings of choice
