Double Fudge Cream Cheese Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350.
  2. Melt 1 c. butter and chocolate in 2 qt. pan, stir til smooth.
  3. Stir in remaining brownie ingredients, except chips.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Gently stir in chips.
  6. Spread 1/2 of batter in greased or sprayed 13x9 pan.
  7. Combine all filling ingredients in small bowl.
  8. Beat at medium speed till creamy.
  9. Spread over brownie batter in pan.
  10. Spoon remaining batter over cream cheese.
  11. Some cheese mix may show through.
  12. Bake for 30- 35 min.
  13. Cool Completely.
  14. Cut into bars.
