Deep Dish Peach Streusel Pie

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Make dough: Combine flour,salt, and sugar in food processor.
  2. Pulse a few times to mix.
  3. Add butter and process until mixture resembles cornmeal.
  4. Remove and place in a bowl.
  5. Gradually mix in enough cold water to form dough into a ball.
  6. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill 30 minutes.
  7. Make filling: While dough is chilling, peel, slice and pit the peaches.
  8. Add brown sugar, spices and cornstarch.
  9. Toss to mix.
  10. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  11. Roll dough out to fit a 9 deep dish pie pan.
  12. Place dough in pan and crimp edges.
  13. Prick bottom of dough with a fork in several places.
  14. Pour the peach mixture into the crust.
  15. Make topping: Beat the butter and brown sugar together.
  16. Stir in the nuts.
  17. Add just enough flour to make mixture crumbly.
  18. Spread mixture over top of peaches.
  19. Bake for 40-60 minutes, or until pie is bubbly, and streusel and crust are browned.
