Creamed Beef With Spinach

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch spinach
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 onion
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 3/4 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions:

  1. Chop the spinach, discarding the stems.
  2. Chop the onion. Mince the garlic.
  3. Crisp the bacon. Chop to create bacon bits.
  4. Wilt the spinach in two tablespoons of butter. Remove from heat and save.
  5. Sautee the onion and garlic until the onion starts to brown,.
  6. Add the ground beef, separating it into crumbles. Use salt & pepper to season the mix.
  7. Contunue stirring untl all the meat is browned and there is no pink showing.
  8. Fold in the saved spinach,.
  9. Add the condensed cream of mushroom soup, and a half cup of water. Stir until the mixture is well mixed.
  10. Mix in the bacon bits. Serve over egg noodles.
