  1. Combine broth and water in a saucepan. Keep warm over low heat.
  2. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat until smoking. Add onion and suate 2 minutes until translucent. Add rice; reduce heat to medium and cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in the wine; cook until the liquid is nearly absorbed, stirring constantly.
  3. Add broth mixture, 1/2 cup at a time, stirring constantly. Cook until each portion of broth is almost absorbed before adding the next one (about 20 minutes).
  4. Stir in crabmeat, parsley, and basil; cook about 2 minutes until heated through, stirring constantly. Spoon onto plates and sprinkle with cheese.
