Cinnamon Toast Love Letters

Ingredients:

  • 6 tbsp caster sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 4 slices bread
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions:

  1. Mix caster sugar and cinnamon together well.
  2. Toast bread.
  3. Butter it immediately while still hot and sprinkle over the sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Cut each slice in two. This gives you 8 equal-sized pieces, one for each letter.
  5. Using a sharp knife place each piece on a chopping board and carefully cut out individual letters, trying to make them as even as possible. Which ones? I L O V E Y O and U of course!
  6. Arrange on a plate and serve.
