Cinnamon Sugar Shortbread Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup cake flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350*.
  2. In large bowl, combine all ingredients.with fork.stir together until soft dough forms.
  3. Press evenly on bottom of 2 9 shortbread molds -
  4. Prick all over with fork -
  5. Bake for 20-30 minutes.
  6. Loosen edges of shortbread from pan - with butter knife.
  7. Invert onto wooden board.
  8. In a small bowl - combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over shortbread.
  9. Cut into wedges.
