Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 1/2-2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup baking cocoa
  • 2 2/3 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cocoa and baking soda; blend in 1/3 cup melted butter.
  2. Add boiling water, stirring until thickened.
  3. Stir in sugar, eggs, vanilla, and remaining butter.
  4. Add flour, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour into a greased 13x9-inch baking pan.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  8. For Frosting: Cream butter in a mixing bowl.
  9. Combine cocoa, sugar, and cinnamon; add alternately with the milk.
  10. Beat to a spreading consistency; add vanilla.
  11. Add more milk if necessary.
  12. Spread over brownies.
