Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and cinnamon; set aside.
  3. In large bowl, cream together the butter, sugars, egg, water and vanilla using an electric mixer set on medium speed.
  4. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, beating on low speed until blended.
  5. Stir in oats, cranberries, nuts and chocolate chips (for a nuttier flavor, you can toast the oats and nuts in a frying pan set on medium heat and, stirring constantly, cook until lightly browned.
  6. Let cool completely before adding to rest of ingredients).
  7. Drop heaping tablespoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for about 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  9. For chewy cookies, do not overbake.
