Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 3 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • about 2 tbsp hot water

Directions:

  1. Place butter in a heavy saucepan. Cook over low heat until golden brown, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; gradually add sugar, beating well. Add hot water as needed for spreading consistency. Stir in vanilla.
