Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups sifted flour
  • 1/3 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Cream shortening, sugar and egg.
  2. Sift flour with baking powder.
  3. Add dry ingredients alternating with milk; mix well.
  4. Carefully stir i n blueberries.
  5. Pour into greased and floured 9 in cake pan.
  6. Bake at 375 degrees 20 to 25 minutes.
  7. You can dust with powdered sugar if desired once its turned out on cake plate..
  8. Serve with whipped cream.
