Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mixt together blackberries and 3/4 cup sugar and set aside. Melt 1 stick margarine in a 2 quart baking dish. Combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour, milk, baking powder and salt. Pour batter mixture into baking dish on top of melted margarine. Pour berry mixture on top of batter. Bake 60 minutes. Batter will come to top as it bakes.
