Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Grease baking sheet.
  3. Cream shortening,sugar,egg,milk and extract.
  4. In separate bowl,combine remaining dry ingredients.
  5. Add to creamed mixture.
  6. Stir in chopped chocolates,cherries and almonds.
  7. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inched apart onto baking sheet.
  8. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  9. Do not overbake.
  10. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet.
  11. Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
