Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add the egg.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon; gradually add to the creamed mixture, beating just until combined.
  3. Stir in apple and walnuts.
  4. Pour into a greased 8-in. square baking dish.
  5. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool on a wire rack.
