Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. Grease 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  2. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer until creamy.
  3. Beat in egg and lemon peel until blended.
  4. Mix in flour, almonds, and cinnamon until well blended.
  5. Press 2 cups dough into bottom or prepared pan.
  6. Spread preserves over dough.
  7. Press remaining dough, a small amount at a time, evenly over preserves.
  8. Bake 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar; cut into bars.
