Sweet Tater Pie

Ingredients:

  • sweet tater pie
  • 1 9in. pie shell in a 9 in. pie plate
  • pre heat oven to 400 df i take the top rack out put pie on
  • middle shelf.
  • 1 and 1/3 cup baked sweet taters
  • 1 and 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tea sp. salt
  • 1 and 1/4 tea sp. cinnamon (level )
  • 1/2 tea sp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tea sp ginger
  • 1/4 tea sp cloves

Directions:

  1. I dump every thing in a bowl and mix with a wire whip then
  2. Pour into your shell and into oven. bake for 35 min. then
  3. Check if the crust is getting brown.
  4. Make hole in a pc. Of alum. foil so it will cover about
  5. 1 and 1/2 in on the out side lay on pie and finish baking for
  6. About 20 min. check the center it should be firm.
  7. (NOTE) You can make a pumpkin pie

  9. The same way I like to use caned pumpkin because it does not
  10. Have the juice as home cooked does. And pumpkin or sweet tater
  11. Pudding by leaving out the crust. A gob of real whipped cream
  12. Won't hurt it a bit.
