Directions:

  1. In a bowl, blend all the wet ingredients
  2. Slowly add the dry, mixing well
  3. Be sure the batter is the consistency of thick cake batter
  4. I prefer Crisco, but have your choice of oil hot and ready
  5. Drop by teaspoons into the hot skillet, I prefer iron
  6. Brown until golden turning once
  7. Drain on paper towel
