Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp juice
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 1/2-2 cups nuts (optional) or 1 1/2-2 cups raisins (optional) or 1 1/2-2 cups dried fruits

Directions:

  1. Beat margarine with sugars until creamy.
  2. Add egg and juce.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda and cinnamon. Add to the creamed mixture.
  4. Stir in oats and other additions.
  5. Drop by tablespoonfuls on greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 350F for 15-18 minutes.
  7. Cool a little before removing.
