Ingredients:

  • 1 cup shortening
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 f
  2. Cream shortening and sugar together.
  3. Mix in pumpkin, egg, and molasses.
  4. Stir in dry ingredients, raisins and spices.
  5. Drop by the spoonful onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
