Peanut Butter Slab Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 125 g butter
  • 1/2 cup castor sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp b.powder
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 tsp b.soda
  • 150 g any good chocolate peanut bars ( we use whittikers peanut slabs)

Directions:

  1. Beat butter, peanut butter and both sugars til light and fluffy..add egg and beat until well combined...stir in 1/2 the dry ingreds and chocolate thats been chopped into small chunks, mix and then add remaining sifted dry ingreds and mix well...turn out and roll into a log and wrap with cling film, refridgerate one hour ....cut into 1cm slices and place on oven tray...bake at 180 for 12 mins or until lightly golden.
  2. Note: I normally remove cookies a min or two early to get a chewy cookie
