Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In top half of double boiler, mix beer, 1/2 c water, sugar and lemon juice.
  2. Sprinkle gelatin over remaining 1/4 c water.
  3. Mix to dissolve and add to beer mixture.
  4. Beat egg yolks and add to beer mixture.
  5. Cook, stirring constantly until it coats a metal spoon 8 to 10 minutes.
  6. Cool.
  7. Beat egg whites until they stand in soft peaks.
  8. Fold into cold beer mixture.
  9. Pour into 6 individual dishes.
  10. Chill.
  11. May be served with whipped cream.
