Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cream butter, add sugar, beat in egg yolks.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients (except jam and cream.) Beat egg whites.
  3. Fold in batter.
  4. Grease and flour two 9-inch layer cake pans.
  5. Spoon half of batter into each.
  6. Bake in oven (350 F) for 30 minutes.
  7. Fill cold layers with jam.
  8. Top with whipped cream.
