Ingredients:

  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 3/4 cup (11.5 oz package) nestle chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degree's
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
  3. Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla in a lg. bowl until creamy. beat in egg.
  4. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips, coconut and walnuts.
  6. Drop by slightly rounded tbsp onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 8 to 11 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  8. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes and then can move to wire racks to cool completely.
