Ingredients:

  • 1 2/3 cups flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup flaked coconut, toasted if desired

Directions:

  1. Sift dry ingredients.
  2. Beat butter, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla until creamy.
  3. Beat in egg.
  4. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
  5. Stir in chips, coconut and nuts.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 11 minutes.
