Ingredients:

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 cup cola
  • 2 cups + 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows (optional)

Directions:

  1. Melt butter, cocoa, and cola together over low heat in a large saucepan. Remove from heat and beat in flour, salt, and sugar. Stir baking soda into buttermilk and mix well. Add to chocolate mixture. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Fold in mini marshmallows, if used. Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
  2. Coca Cola Frosting
  3. 1 stick butter
  4. 6 tablespoons cola
  5. 1 cup chopped nuts
  6. 2 tablespoons cocoa
  7. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  8. 1 box powdered sugar
  9. Melt butter, cola, and cocoa together over low heat in a heay saucepan. Remove from heat and add sugar, nuts and vanilla extract. Beat until sugar is dissolved.
