Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Combine cookie crumbs, 3 Tbs sugar and melted butter.
  2. Press firmly into 9 inch pie plate covering bottom and sides evenly.
  3. Bake at 350° F for 10 minutes.
  4. In a medium sized bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and 1 tbs milk in large bowl until smooth.
  5. Gently stir in 1/2 of the whipped topping.
  6. Spread on bottom of baked crust.
  7. In a medium saucepan, combine the 1/3 cup sugar and the cornstarch.
  8. Stir in the milk, chocolate, and 1 tablespoon butter.
  9. Cook on medium stirring constantly until thickened and bubbling.
  10. Reduce heat; cook and stir 2 additional minutes.
  11. Remove 1 cup of mixture from pan.
  12. Gradually stir the 1 cup of mixture into egg yolks.
  13. Return mixture to saucepan; bring to boil.
  14. Cook, stirring constantly for 2 additional minutes.
  15. Stir in vanilla.
  16. Set pudding aside to cool for a few minutes.
  17. Turn pie filling into pie pan on top of the cream cheese layer.
  18. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until set.
  19. Just before Serving spread remaining whipped toping over pudding layer, and garnish with shaved chocolate.
