Ingredients:

  • 2 cups and 1-2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 pint blackberry

Directions:

  1. 1) Preheat the oven to 375°F Grease an 8-inch baking pan.
  2. 2) Sift together the 2 cups of flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg. Add the flour mixture in 3 parts, alternating with the milk. Toss the berries and fold inches Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  3. 3) Bake for 35 minutes.
