  • 1/2 cup. stick butter or margarine
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • filling
  • 1 - 8 oz. package. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

  • 1/4 cup. slivered almonds
  • whipped cream , optional

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

  5. Bake for 10 minutes at 450; reduce heat to 400 degrees and bake and additional 25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown. Run thin knife between crust and pan; cool in pan 15 minutes. Remove sides of pan. Cool completely. Chill until serving.
  6. Slice into wedges and top with whipped cream to serve.
