Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup. shortening
  • 1/2 cup. peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup. white sugar
  • 1/2 cup. brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 cup. flour

Directions:

  1. Cream shortening and peanut butter
  2. Beat sugar into mixture, add egg and rest of ingredients
  3. Drop by teaspoonfulls onto cookie sheet, flatten into circles with the tines of a fork.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min. or less
