Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Peel, core, and thinly slice the apples.
  2. Cream butter, vanilla, eggs, and sugar.
  3. Add cinnamon and baking powder.
  4. Beat in flour.
  5. Stir in apples to combine.
  6. Spoon batter (it will be thick) into a greased 9x13 pan. Smooth top with knife or rubber scraper.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes until golden brown on top.
  8. Let cool for 10 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired.
