Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Beat butter, shortening, brown sugar, granulated sugar, milk, egg, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
  3. Combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add to butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Stir in oats and raisins,.
  6. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake 12-15 minutes until barely set and golden.
  8. Makes 3 dozen.
