Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 quart buttermilk
  • 4-1/4 cups flour
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract butter
  • melt butter then add sugar and beat in eggs and milk.
  • combine dry ingredients then combine mixes and mix well.
  • refrigerate 30 minutes then fry in a small amount of butter on a griddle.
