Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Sift flour together with soda, salt and spices and set aside.
  3. Cream butter with sugar until light - add vanilla and pumpkin and mix well.
  4. Slowly add dry ingredients and then stir in walnuts.
  5. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 apart on a greased baking sheet and bake 15 minutes until lightly browned.
  6. Transfer to wire racks to cool.
