Ingredients:

  • 2 cups rice krispies cereal (any brand will do!)
  • 2 cups mini puffed marshmallows
  • 1/2 stick regular salted butter
  • 30 unwrapped caramels (this takes the longest amount of time.. the unwrapping of those caramels!)(get the kids to help!)

Directions:

  1. Using an ungreased 13x9 inch aluminum pan or a pan covered in Release Aluminum foil, pour the rice krisies into the bottom of the pan.
  2. In a glass microwave-proof bowl, add the caramels and butter.
  3. Heat on high for 2 minutes and stir.
  4. Add 2 cups of marshmallows.
  5. Heat on high for one minutes and stir.
  6. Pour this mixture directly over the rice krispies and spread quickly and evenly.
  7. Pour the peanuts over the caramel mixture and press FIRMLY into the caramel.
  8. Cool and cut into small squares and serve!
  9. I have to add this. Men love these!
