Old Fashioned Farmstyle Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups raw sugar
  • 1/4 cup raw milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 1/2 cups oatmeal

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Whip together sugar and butter.
  3. Mix in milk, egg and vanilla.
  4. Slowly add baking soda, salt cinnamon and flour.
  5. Mix in oatmeal until thoroughly blended.
  6. Roll into balls and flatten on cookie sheet 1-2 inches apart, about 1/4 inch thick.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for 1 minute then move to cool rack.
